I’m Idris, a mix engineer working with rock, alternative, and heavy music.
I’m drawn to the details that make a recording feel alive: the weight of a drum hit, the texture of a guitar, a vocal that makes you lean in. My job is to give those details room without smoothing away the character.
We’ll start with your rough mix, your references, and a conversation about the record you want to make. From there, I’ll work through the balance, space, and dynamics with you until the mix feels right.

From your session
to the final mix.

Find the direction.
Send a rough mix, a few references, and your timeline. We’ll agree on the scope, price, and delivery date before work begins.
- 02 /
Get into the mix.
Share your audio files through Drive or WeTransfer. I’ll build the first mix around the sound and priorities we’ve discussed.
- 03 /
Make it feel right.
Listen on your usual speakers and headphones, then send your notes. We’ll refine the mix and deliver the final WAV files.
What should I send for a quote?
A rough mix or private listening link, the number of songs, and your preferred deadline. References are helpful, too. You don’t need to upload a full session to make an inquiry.
How should I prepare my audio files?
Export clearly named WAV tracks from the same start point, at your session’s original sample rate and bit depth. Include your rough mix and keep any effects that are part of the sound. If you’re unsure about an export, ask before sending.
How long does a mix take?
A first mix typically takes around 48 hours once the files are ready and the session is scheduled. We’ll confirm a delivery date before starting; EPs and albums are scheduled around the scope of the project.
Is mastering included?
These services cover mixing. Final WAV mixes are supplied ready for mastering. Let me know your release plans so we can confirm the files you’ll need.
